Their story
Keith Barnes spent more than 30 years in beverage alcohol marketing before he started distilling whiskey in his garage, curious whether truly good organic whiskey was possible. He got his license and opened Bainbridge Organic Distillers on Bainbridge Island, Washington, in 2009.
It is an independent, family-run business, and it calls itself the second-oldest distillery in the state.
How it's made
Every spirit is USDA certified organic and made from heritage organic grains. Bainbridge distills everything it bottles at its still house on the island, using traditional methods, and makes whiskey, vodka and gin.
Why we carry them
We like Bainbridge for organic spirits made start to finish by a small Northwest team. It is a good choice when you want to know exactly where your bottle came from.
