Their story

Bragg traces its roots to 1912 and to Paul Bragg, an early champion of natural foods and healthy living. His daughter Patricia Bragg took over leadership in the 1970s and became the face of the brand for decades from California's Central Coast.

Patricia led the company as CEO until she retired and sold it in 2019. She died in 2023 at 94, remembered as one of the early voices of the natural and organic food movement.

How it's made

Bragg is best known for organic apple cider vinegar that is left raw and unfiltered, so it keeps the cloudy strands known as the mother. The range also includes liquid aminos, seasonings and dressings.

Patricia Bragg was one of the original visionaries of the natural and organic food industry,
Andrew Richards, Chairman of the Board, to New Hope Network (2023)

Why we carry them

We keep Bragg on the shelf because so many kitchens rely on it. It is a pantry classic for dressings, marinades and morning tonics.
