Their story
Hinterhaus Distilling was founded by Bonnie Boglioli-Randall and Nate Randall in Arnold, a mountain town in California's Sierra Nevada foothills. They opened in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic.
The distillery has since picked up recognition in the craft spirits world, including an Innovation Award from the American Craft Spirits Association for its Warming Hut holiday spirit, and in 2024 Nate Randall was named a rising star in distilling by the American Distilling Institute.
How it's made
Hinterhaus works with local ingredients and fresh Sierra water. Its range includes a vodka distilled from wine, American single malt whiskey and limited releases such as aged rye and port-finished malt.
