Their story
Erin Ozer, who grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, spent nearly a decade in arts administration in New York before stepping away to stay home with her first child. She started selling handmade accessories on Etsy and soon found herself most excited about the packaging: kraft paper, twine and tags.
That became Knot & Bow, a Brooklyn company focused on minimal, good-looking ways to wrap and celebrate. Its gift tags, twine, party goods and confetti have been carried by retailers such as Anthropologie and Nordstrom.
How it's made
A small team designs and produces the line. Ozer created the company's confetti after being disappointed by cheap, crushed versions, opting for bigger, better-made circles.
I wanted bigger circles that were high quality.
Why we carry them
We keep Knot & Bow near the register for finishing touches; a tag and some twine make any bottle feel like a gift.
