Their story
Sausalito Liquor Co. was launched in 2023 by Scott Jampol, a former marketing executive who also tends bar part-time in Sausalito. The brand draws on the history and character of the waterfront town just across the Golden Gate.
Jampol wanted spirits that feel welcoming and unfussy, and the company supports more than 25 local community groups.
How it's made
Marin Coastal Gin uses California citrus peel, two kinds of juniper, angelica seed from Santa Rosa, and nori foraged on the Sonoma Coast, gathered with Heidi Herrmann of Strong Arm Farm. The Unsinkable bourbon is finished in Napa Cabernet barrels and the rye in Napa port barrels. Bottles use recycled glass and compostable stoppers.

Why we carry them
We love a spirit from just across the bridge. The seaweed in the gin gives a briny edge that works well in a martini.
