Their story
SIMPLi was started by Matt Cohen and Sarela Herrada, who built the company around working directly with farmers, with teams in both the United States and Peru.
The brand launched in 2020 with plans to sell to restaurants, then turned to grocery shelves when the pandemic hit. It has since grown from a handful of products to a full pantry line, and it carries Regenerative Organic Certified status across several categories.
How it's made
SIMPLi sources single-origin goods such as extra virgin olive oil from Sparta, Greece, plus Peruvian spice salt, quinoa, chia and beans. Through its Regenerative Pathway Program, the company helps partner farmers move from conventional to organic to regenerative organic practices with training, agronomists and financial support.
