Their story
Sugarfina is the work of Rosie O'Neill, a former marketing director for Barbie at Mattel, and Josh Resnick, who had earlier sold his video game studio. The couple decided to build a candy shop for adults after watching Willy Wonka at an outdoor screening, and they opened their first boutique in Beverly Hills in late 2013.
The brand grew quickly through its own shops and counters inside Nordstrom. In 2019, after a bankruptcy process, substantially all of Sugarfina's assets were bought by private equity firm Bristol Luxury Group, which formed a new operating company to carry the brand forward.
How it's made
Sugarfina started by buying from small, family-run candy makers around the world and later began developing its own recipes, such as gummies made with Champagne and rose wine. The candy is packed in clear, custom cubes, with around 150 varieties in rotation at a time.

Why we carry them
A few Sugarfina cubes make an easy host gift or a sweet add-on to a cheese board. We like that you can mix and match flavors instead of committing to one big bag.
