Their story
Sweeter Cards started in St. Louis with Stacy Stahl, who was putting together a gift for a friend with a card and a chocolate bar and wondered why the two could not be one thing. She launched the first cards in 2018, working with local graphic designers on the artwork.
The idea caught on with shops around the country and with companies sending holiday gifts. In 2024 Stahl sold the business to Maple Ridge Farms, a corporate food gift company, and stayed on to keep growing the brand.
How it's made
Each card holds a bar of dark chocolate filled with caramel and finished with sea salt, made by hand by a local St. Louis chocolatier. The card designs come from local illustrators and designers.
