Their story
Un Voyage Dans Les Vignes, or a journey through the vines, was founded by Malo Le Coarer in Mouzillon, in the Pays Nantais at the western end of the Loire Valley. It works as both a small producer and a négociant.
Malo makes his cuvées alongside winemaker friends across different terroirs, so each bottle is a stop on that journey. The lineup includes Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, Chardonnay from Clisson and a pét-nat.
How it's made
All of the wines are certified organic. Grapes come from partner growers and the company's own work across the Nantes area; the Poissons Chardonnay, for example, grows on gravel and silt over granite near Clisson and is fermented cool in stainless steel to keep it fresh.
