Their story
Belching Beaver was founded in 2012 in North County San Diego by Thomas Vogel and Dave Mobley, with brewmaster Troy Smith, who came over from Coronado Brewing Company.
The brewery grew quickly from its Vista roots and had five locations by 2018. Its Peanut Butter Milk Stout is the beer Smith credits with putting the brewery on the map, and the lineup also includes plenty of San Diego style IPAs.
How it's made
Belching Beaver brews its beers in North County San Diego, with a range that runs from hop-forward IPAs to rich stouts. The Peanut Butter Milk Stout pairs a smooth milk stout base with a roasted peanut butter flavor.
Why we carry them
We think the Peanut Butter Milk Stout is a fun one to bring to a party or pour with dessert. Their IPAs are classic San Diego.
